Temptation…

On Inkigayo Special Stage SHINee did part of Run It and, of course, Replay. And it was SO AWESOME.

Why… why did they have to do this?!?! Why do they have to tempt me so?? OMG their dancing to Run It is just… almost… so close… to being hot. I don’t know how much longer I can follow my “no fangirling over SHINee” rule. If they keep this up, I don’t think I can do it for too much longer. It was just really hot. Though their clothes… dunno about that one. I didn’t like the Run It outfits too much, with the exception of Taemin’s, which makes him look nicely older XP. But the pants!!! They are too shiny and too tight XP! But the really tight skinny jeans and cute red t-shirts for Replay are SO ADORABLE! So win… I really love the jeans… kinda jealous, not gonna lie.

And then there’s this… it’s from their album, so it’s a few months old, but I just saw it.

Onew is just HOT. I’m not even gonna lie. This is way too hot. I WISH HE WOULD JUST TAKE OFF THAT SWEATER! Eek… bad thoughts bad thoughts! But he’s not jailbait, so it’s okay, right??? Onew’s definitely my favorite in SHINee now, after seeing this XP. He’s only a year younger than me, so it isn’t TOO bad, but still… it’s just… ah!!! He’s older than Mouse, too, and I’m more than willing to fangirl over him, so I don’t know why I’m objecting.

AF5 Update!

It’s been awhile since I’ve really watched AF5. I haven’t watched the house in a few weeks, and even then only for a few minutes at a time. I haven’t watched an entire concert since week 2, though I got close to finishing week 3 XP.

I just kind of lost interest after Beer and Benz left, and then the songs these past few weeks have been songs I don’t know, because my knowledge of Thai stuff is fairly limited (fail……). And then Nim and Wan and Nat left… and I was just like… WHAT?? For reals? Well… I don’t know how much Nat improved. I just know my friend loves him and she’s totally heartbroken that he’s gone. But I thought Wan was the most talented person in the house… and it’s really a shame that he’s gone. And Nim was really good, too. And now this week Tab is gone. I really like Tab, too… he’s just made of awesome. I feel bad for Ron… 4 Sao is all broken up and he’s the only one left! Poor him. I’m glad Pring is gone, though… obviously… since I really dislike her.

So um… what has been going on these past few weeks? There was the Pring drama, then the Pump drama. There hasn’t been too much drama since then. But um… Tab was crying a few weeks ago because someone’s (AKA Micky’s) mom said that he isn’t allowed to talk to her. For one thing, I dunno how she would have managed to tell him this, since they aren’t supposed to have outside contact. And for another thing, I really, really dislike Micky’s mom. She votes something like a million baht a week for Micky. Because they’re really rich. She buys SIM cards and gives them to her employees and tells them to vote for Micky. Like WTF! That is NOT fair. It’s not specifically against the rules, but… I’m sure Micky knows what her mom does, and I’m sure if Micky had good sportsmanship, she would tell her mom to stop. So I don’t like Micky much either. But her mom… is definitely worse. I always wonder why Micky’s vote is so high, because she hasn’t done anything remarkable. Her fanclub isn’t even that big. But then I remember… oh, yeah. A million baht goes a long way. What is the point of winning if you only won because you’re rich??? Doesn’t Micky want to win on her own merit? If she wins it would be a sham. I really hope she doesn’t win. Of the people left, the only person I would want to win is Beau. I wouldn’t mind Ron, because he’s so super adorable, but… he’s not the greatest singer.

Just recently (this week?) Good went to the hospital because Kru Ped was being mean to her and caused her to have a panic attack. Kru Ped is evil. I hate her. At least she can’t molest Benz XP. That was one of the upsides I saw to Benz leaving early. Because I thought she SO wanted to molest him… so when he left, I was just like YES! HE’S SAFE! Hehehe…

Pump fainted before the concert this week. Poor Pump!!! He’s a nice boy, even if he’s a little bit dumb and immature and not all that talented. But he’s improving… everyone’s improving (except maybe Micky???) so it’s pretty nice.

Pump reminds me of Win’s character in this new lakorn I’m watching. The only lakorn I’ve ever finished is Roy Leh Sanae Rai… I generally don’t watch asian dramas because I just don’t have the patience to finish them. But this lakorn, Pom Ruk Roy Adeed… it’s not that great, but there’s just something about it… I can’t wait to see the next episode! It’s so fascinating. I’m so addicted.

B.O.Y ♥

Finally! I totally adore them.

B.O.Y stands for Blood of Youth, which seems a bit morbid to me, but I think what they were going for was like “youngblood” or something, since that term has been floating around GMM Grammy’s people a bit. And B.O.Y has only 2 periods in it, which is really grammatically STUPID AS *#@!, but what can you do? -_- I like them despite their major grammatical failings XP.

GMM Grammy debuted them in April, and they have yet to finish their debut album. They have two songs out right now, both of which are currently in my repeat list XD. First Love First Hurt was their first single, and Chin was featured on it. I really, really dislike Chin. He’s so not as good as he thinks he is. I won’t lie, he isn’t bad looking… but his arrogance is just… ugh. And he should really learn to button his shirt and walk normally. But this isn’t a Chin hate post, so I’ll just stop…

It’s a cute song, isn’t it? But I like their second one better.

Suju update!

Today’s a pretty updatey day =] So there’s three people I want to update on, and I’ll just post something (or things) of them that I love.

So first thing… Kyuhyun’s grandmother just died a few days ago, so he flew from China back to Korea to be with his family. My consolations to Kyu… my heart is breaking for him. I hope he can be with his family for as long as he needs (and for as long as they need him). If I see that he’s back in China in the next few days, I’ll be kind of upset. Poor Kyu. I hope he knows he has the support of countless people. And as a sidenote, I watched the SJ-M CCTV thing and Zhoumi so misses his Kyuhyun. Aww. Fighting! ♥♥♥

I just love this clip because Kyuhyun is so dorky and adorable and I love how Kangin totally calls him out XD.

Second thing… Heechul just had surgery a few days ago to get that rod out of his leg. I hope he has a wonderfully speedy recovery and lots and lots of rest! And I hope he doesn’t strain himself too much in the next (less than a) month until the Super Show Concert in Thailand. I miss Heechul! And can’t wait for his comeback! Fighting! ♥♥♥

And on a lighter note, the third thing… and I obviously saved the best for last… HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYEOWOOK! =] It’s still the 21st here but it’s clearly not anymore over in Asia, but what can you do? XP Ryeowook’s so silly and funny and talented and I hope he has a wonderful birthday, even though he’s in China away from his family and the rest of Suju. But he has Henry! Hehe for the steamy Henwook action. Fighting! ♥♥♥

Ice update!

I haven’t written a post on him yet, but Ice Saranyu is the Asian popstar I love the most. He’s my first future husband! As much as I adore Kyuhyun, Ice is number 1 in my heart. And I’ll marry him even though I know he’s gay! XP I bet a lot of Thai girls would. But anyway, this is kind of old news… but it’s new to me.

So basically, Peck Aof Ice are having their lovely first concert (titled We R One) on July 26, 2008 at 7 PM at Indoor Stadium in Bangkok. Tickets went on sale on June 10, and they cost either 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, or 2000 baht.

Can you hear my heart breaking into a million gazillion pieces? The biggest thing I wanted out of my Thailand trip was to see my lover Ice. And this is his FIRST CONCERT. He’s had tons of mini-concerts at pubs and malls and whatnot, performed at festivals, been on TV shows a billion times, and he’s guested at other people’s concerts (like Golf-Mike), but he’s never had his own real concert. And neither have Peck and Aof. OMG what I would give to be there. What I would give to take Chem lab in Session C and get to see Suju AND Ice. If I could have taken Session C instead, so much @!#& wouldn’t have happened. My heart wouldn’t be shattered right now, and apartment issues wouldn’t have been so big, and so many things would have just been so much easier. Oh, and I would get to go to AF concerts.

I’m so sad… I didn’t think I’d be this heartbroken, but I think it’s just the combination of so many things going wrong, and this is kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back. If only I could have gone to this, it would have (nearly) made up for everything else. I’m being really emo and dramatic about just a concert XP. But I really am very, very sad. I’m so heartbroken. This kind of concert doesn’t happen often, and Suju’s 1st Asia Tour doesn’t happen often either, and to miss them both by a few weeks… I just… it’s really sad. I’m getting more depressed *runs off to listen to depressing Thai pop*

But before I go do that…

This is from the True Music Top 20 Party, which (I think?) happens every month. They were number 1! Don’t they all look so good in their suits? The dance moves for Kae Kon Toh Pid are so hilarious XP. There are some great clips of 1011 and B.O.Y performing there too… though I’m not sure if it’s the same party or a different month’s. This would be an awesome show to go to.

SHINee ♥

My next “things I like” post was going to be on B.O.Y, because I really like them, and they should be coming out with a new MV soon (or it might be out already…), but I just saw SHINee’s performance on M!Countdown and I really like those outfits. I think those are my favorite performance outfits of theirs so far.

It’s pretty incredible how good they are, since they’re so young. They just keep getting better and better. When I first saw them, I was like NOOOOOOOO THEY’RE SO LITTLE! :’( MUST RESIST… I AM NOT A PEDO. And I didn’t think they were that cute, either. But I did think they danced well and sang pretty well. But Replay is soooooo addicting, I think there must be some kind of subliminal message underneath that really really catchy beat. If you play it backwards it probably says “I WILL REPLAY THIS SONG 1029930129 TIMES AND BECOME A SHINEE FANGIRL”. I think it’s the most addicting song ever in the history of ever. No one can resist its pull. I tried… I didn’t even like SHINee all that much when I first saw them. But it was a huge epic fail.

Their debut was awesome… they were great, and I love that they sing live. They’re just some really talented (little) boys. The more I watched their performances, the more impressed I was, and the cuter they got, and before I knew it I really liked them, and I was in too deep. And then I looked up the lyrics to In My Room, and they are so so so sweet and that song is just ♥. SHINee is just ♥♥♥… but I WON’T FANGIRL OVER THEM! It’s just not right… they’re so young! I know Onew and Jonghyun are 18, but that doesn’t change anything… 18’s still young.

I think Onew’s my favorite, though. Thank goodness for that… or else I’d really feel like a pedo XD. He’s such a babyface… he definitely doesn’t look like the oldest. Jonghyun’s too much cool for me… he’s got too much attitude. He’s getting so close to being hot that it’s just too dangerous! *runs away* Key looks like Jonghyun’s little brother or something XD. They have the same hair… and Onew’s hair is the opposite of Jonghyun and Key’s hair!! 5555+ Minho’s too cute and smiley for me… it’s very Ton from The Star 4, and I don’t like Ton… but I do think Minho’s cuter than Ton! Taemin is just… too young! The bowl hair NEEDS TO GO. He’s a good dancer but he dances a little gay XD. And they’re all just sooooo skinny. Especially Taemin and Key! Way too skinny. But I love skinny boys! OMG must resist.

I have to say, Lee Soo Man is a total evil genius. He might be evil, but he is definitely a genius. In a few months, he just made bank (not that he wasn’t already). Three hot groups: SJ-M, SHINee, and SJ-H. I want to be like his apprentice or something.

So yeah… I guess my next post will be about B.O.Y =]

Lots of love

I just got back from a 3-day retreat, so I’m pretty tired. But it was a lot of fun (and a lot of work). But now I’ve got a few days until I start summer classes, so I’m going to do what I want!

So the last post was really pretty harsh… but now that it’s been established that I really don’t like C-Quint, what do I like? This is going to be a love post. =]

Well… I have to say, I kind of like C-Quint’s slower song… which I don’t know the title of, because I can’t read Thai, and I can’t really be bothered to find out what it’s called. So it’s not ALL hate. Only some of it. But their single really is shite.

But anyway, one thing I like!

That is (as you can probably guess) 1011. 1011 is a duo that RS debuted in, I think, April. I got to listen to more of them these past few days and I kind of really like them. Bank is on the left… to me he somehow looks a bit like an anime character. XD Bon is on the right, and I think he looks really cute here. At least, I’m pretty sure that Bank is on the left and Bon is on the right… please correct me if I’m wrong. Asian groups/ duos all look alike to me at the beginning. I’m not sure how I ever managed to learn who’s who in Suju. It was such a daunting task! For Golf-Mike, I have no idea who’s who. And I have trouble with Four-Mod, too. But I don’t like those two duos much, so it’s alright.

But anyway, Bank is the better dancer, and Bon is the better singer. I think both of them used to do backup for Film Rattapoom; Bank danced, and Bon sang, of course. I’m kind of partial to Bon because in the Waylah Tee Hai Pai MV he played the piano, and I’m a sucker for guys who play instruments, especially the piano. And I kind of think Bank is a buthisface… or whatever a butherface is for guys. XD He has a pretty nice body, but his face is just… not it. I’M SO MEAN! But he’s a good dancer! I have to give him props for that. And Bon is a good singer. They’re both decent… though at first I was like WTF because Bank basically stood there and did absolutely nothing when they performed Waylah Tee Hai Pai at the True Music Top 20 whatever party. Bon sings most of that song, and they don’t do any dancing in it, so Bank just seemed a bit useless. But he’s not! He’s a really good dancer, and I guess a passable singer. I like all of the songs on their album except maybe Control, which is okay… it’s kind of growing on me. I didn’t like Check Hua Jai when I first heard it, but it grew on me. Even though the MV was a bit stalkerish. And I like the other two songs a lot.

The stalkerish MV… look at the way they corner her and stare at her! Kinda creepy, but I like them anyway.

I guess if you really wanted to, you could say they’re similar to Golf-Mike. Since they’re both duos… and they both sing Thai pop. And they both do some dancing. But I don’t think 1011 has the look and feel of Golf-Mike. For one thing, they aren’t trying to be Japanese. And they don’t look like girls. But now I’m just being mean, and this post is supposed to be a love post, so I’ll stop here. If anyone wants some mp3s or whatnot, I’d be happy to share… just ask!

I was going to add other people I love in this post, but it would just be too long, so I’ll save them for another time.

C-Quint…

So RS debuted a new boy band last week. RS is one of two major record labels in Thailand; the other one is GMM GRAMMY. RS is the smaller of the two. I have to say, I’m kind of a GMM GRAMMY fangirl. My future husband Ice is on there, so that’s where my heart lies. And I think they just generally have better performers, promotion, and concepts. I always feel kind of bad for RS, because GMM GRAMMY controls something like 70% of the market. And RS lost major money last year. So I really want to like RS people! But I just don’t. They feel overproduced, oversexed, and just generally untalented. Right now, the only people I like from RS are Siska. I really can’t wait for them to come out with an album!

But anyway, that up there is RS’s new boy band, C-Quint. I really really wanted to like them. A Thai boy band that can dance would be wonderful. They’re pretty rare. I know K-OTIC can dance. I don’t know too much about Nice 2 Meet U… I just like one of their songs. I have to say that I love brand-spankin’-new B.O.Y, but they aren’t really dancers. Thai singers generally don’t dance too great. Golf-Mike would probably be the best… but I’m not a huge fan of theirs.

Like I said, I really wanted to like them. But I have a lot of problems with C-Quint. I listened to their single and then watched their MV (and had to deal with the horror that is YOUDUMV), and the conclusion I came to is that they suck.

1. This is kind of petty, but wtf kind of a name is C-Quint? Is it supposed to be like SQUINT?

2. And this is really shallow, but they’re not really cute. I think Bank and Best are pretty cute, but other than that… no. Boy band members should definitely be easy on the eyes!

3. They want to be DBSK. So badly. And it’s just kind of sad, because they really really aren’t at that level. In any way – singing, dancing, personality. So they really should just stop with that.

4. The girl in the MV is terrible. She’s kinda cute… at some angles. But mostly she just looks really stupid. Also the MV in general is really stupid.

5. The song just sucks. Hard. It’s awful! Whoever wrote this song should just be shot. Lyrics aren’t that important for a boy band like this, so just give it a good beat! But they couldn’t even manage that. The song sounds like junk… like noise that a five-year-old mashed together. Just really poorly edited and produced. There is soooo much mixing/editing going on. Can I just hear their voices without a bunch of crap over it? It was far too overproduced. But this segues perfectly into my next point.

6. They can’t fudging sing. Like at all. I think maybe two of them can sing passably, and the rest are just terrible. The editing in a studio version of a song should be good enough that I can’t really tell you can’t sing. I should only realize you can’t sing when you try to do it live. But even though there is so much noise crap going on in this song, I can still hear how bad they are. The bad ones are so bad that just watching the MV makes me cringe, and makes my ears want to jump off and run away in horror.

7. They’re supposed to be able to dance really well. But they’re… okay. Well, they’re pretty good by Thai standards. But I thought they were supposed to be better than that… they want to be DBSK, so they should dance a lot better than they currently do. I think SHINee can dance better than them. Hell, I think Bie (on a good day) can dance better than them.

This was a really mean review… I didn’t realize I disliked them this much! But I think they’re really, really bad. Like… even for RS. They’ve got some pretty talentless people in RS, like, say, Girly Berry, but C-Quint might actually be worse than Girly Berry. Actually, no, I don’t think you can get worse than Girly Berry. At least a couple of the people in C-Quint are cute. I want them to improve! I really want to like them!

It’s late…

I should probably be sleeping….

No, I should definitely be sleeping. I don’t know why I’m still up. AF concert is gonna start in a couple hours! But I haven’t really been watching AF for a few weeks now… mainly because of midterms and then finals and freaking the fudge out about them. And also because the people I like just keep getting picked off… one by one… slowly, and agonizingly. Well, the first time (wk 2) was a bit like a bandage being ripped off really quickly. Sort of… my two favorites gone in the same week! Then wk 3 was poor Nim, and she was so good! And wk 4 was Wan, and that broke my heart too, though I have to say I’m not too sure I even had a heart for AF anymore after Beer and Benz left. My 4 Sao is slowing being broken up. Though at least one bright side to it is that Beer and Wan aren’t separated anymore! But poor Ron…

There’s been major drama on AF these last few weeks, though. So first Prink started crying for NO FUDGING REASON in acting class. Basically they had to wai “rad”, or like sluttily. And it was Prink’s turn, and the teacher was like, “Learn from the best!” so she did it and then she ran behind Ron and started crying. She said she was worried people thought she was slutty or something. Ugh… the teacher was just saying she was good at acting, not that she was good at being a slut. So she just kept saying she didn’t want to make it a big deal, but she was completely making it a big deal by still crying and being stupid. But she kept crying forever and ever even after class was over. Crying over NOTHING! She’s crazy… I think she has pretty low self-esteem and worries too much about what people think of her.

And so what happened this week is that Green (who hit her head and had to go to the hospital, BTW) told Pump that someone in the house said that Pump likes to make a scene and cry a lot. And Pump was worried that one of his friends betrayed him and was all emo and sad about it. He figured it was probably one of his very bestest friends, Kee or Tab. It turns out it was Tab, because someone found a clip of him saying it, but of course Pump doesn’t know that. Tab and Kee told Pump it wasn’t them, and Pump felt much better because he didn’t care what the other people think about him, as long as his bestest friends didn’t think badly of him. But he talked FOR-FUDGING-EVER in the Principal’s office. It was longer than Prink cried. Which was over an hour. Good grief. I figured, even before the clip was found, that whoever said it said it in a joking way. And that it was stupid of Pump to assume that it was said in a mean way. And it turns out Tab DID say it in a joking way. But he can’t explain that to Pump now, since he LIED to him. And Green really should have just kept her mouth shut. She gets a bye because she hit her head, but still.

Why does there need to be drama on AF??? I just want my Beer and Benz and Wan back. The house is not the same without them. I don’t need this drama! Prink really needs to just go home. And Pump, though he is nice, jumps to conclusions, and is pretty much talentless, so he needs to go home too. And Micky, though she’s fairly unobtrusive, makes the strangest/scariest faces when singing and should go home too. Take those 3 and give me back my 3! I’m worried for Ron this week… I’ll find out in a few hours, I guess.

Definitely time for bed now.

Sadness!

I so wish I were going to be in Thailand when Suju is having their 1st Asia Tour concert there! Unfortunately, I’m taking freakin’ CHEM LAB (FUDGE YOU, CHEM LAB!) so I’m going to Thailand in August rather than right after school ends, which would be NEXT WEEK. And Suju is going to be there July 12th. Such sadness. I will also miss AF, since AF ends pretty much a few days before I leave here. I would have been able to vote if I went earlier! I already have a True Move sim card, since I have Peck Aof Ice – Together. I actually have all of Ice’s cds now, except for his Kool Hits one, which I’ll probably buy only because I’m such an Ice fangirl.

It would make it kind of okay that I’m missing Suju if Peck Aof Ice (or just Ice, really) had a concert that I could go to during August! I’ve heard that they may have a concert in August. Maybe if I study really hard, and do well on my finals, I’ll have good karma, and it’ll happen. *so desperate!* That would make my day/week/month/year/life?

And there’s really more of a chance that Suju will come to America, seeing as they already have, than Peck Aof Ice (though Aof was here in September). But I want ALL OF THEM. And they’ll be together much less now with SJ-M. I know SJ-H will be debuting soon, but I blame SJ-M completely. I’m not against SJ-M at all. SJ-M’s U mv is so ridiculously sexy that it got me into this Suju obsession. I listened to only Thai music before that (and, well, English music…). Then I saw that mv and was just like OMFG. I really like SJ-M! But the moment I really fell in love with Suju (not just SJ-M) was the clip where they went on AF4. I don’t know why, but it was really adorable. But about SJ-M, I have to say, I don’t listen to their versions of Suju songs. Except maybe Haengbok, because Kyuhyun finally gets to do Haengbok! ♥ I do like their other songs, though. The not-previously-in-Korean songs.

I’m so only 13, but I’m not anti Henry+Zhoumi. I don’t want H+ZM to be in Suju… because Suju is Suju and must stay that way. But I do support their being in SJ-M. It’s silly to say you support SJ-M but not H+ZM. They are a part of SJ-M. The other SJ-M members want their fans to support the whole group, not exclude H+ZM. The other SJ-M members are not excluding anyone; they all seem really close and they seem like such good friends, so who are the fans to say H+ZM aren’t worthy of support? H+ZM did not force SM to put them in SJ-M, and they work just as hard as anyone else. But yeah… that subject’s been rehashed too many times.

Anyway… I blame SJ-M for Suju being more divided, because SJ-M is off in China so often. At least SJ-H is not focusing on some other country. I want my Suju together, all 13 of them! I want them at the Hollywood Bowl next year for the Korean Music Festival! Since last year when they came Kyuhyun (and I think Heechul too?) was not there. I wouldn’t mind seeing SHINee, either. I like SHINee too much… way too much for my being too old. I don’t want to be a noona! I feel so old! They aren’t hot, though… they’re cute like little kiddies! But the more I watch them, the more adorable they get! Aww… cute little kiddies. So eager and innocent!

I really want to go clubbing in Thailand! I’m kind of apprehensive but really excited. I’m not even old enough yet. And I’m not old enough to drink, either. What kind of sad shit is that?! I can be a noona but I can’t drink or club in Thailand (but luckily, I can go clubbing here!). I can’t believe they considered raising the drinking age to 25 there. OMFG. That’s just… WTF. Way too old!
