KBS sucks.

SHINee did an interview on this KBS news show a few days ago, and the interviewer asked if Onew was a coward! Because of his recent incident and all his fails and just his whole Onew condition. As SHINee fans we all know that Onew is pretty fail, and we all love him for it. But what right does KBS have to call him a coward??

They made a whole compilation of Onew fails (it doesn’t really even include that many of his fails… he has a lot XP). A compilation of Onew fails can be pretty amusing, but not when they imply that he is a coward, and they bring in an expert to say that Onew faints because he has a lot of fears. How stupid is that!? They put in clips of the stuff that happened at their very own Music Bank – the slipping during Juliette (which injured him!) and the whole light fixture falling and fainting thing. All of that stuff was their fault! If they had wiped the stage properly after 2NE1’s performance, Onew wouldn’t have slipped and gotten hurt! If anything, he was brave to continue that whole performance without giving any sign of pain. And the lighting thing is just stupid. I hate that they are trying to make it seem like something that was their fault was actually Onew’s fault. I know they are trying to make it into a joke, so they can look better and feel better about themselves (and not Onew) being careless, but trying to make this kind of joke isn’t the way to do it.

If you look at Onew’s face after the question is asked, I think you can tell he was hurt/offended. He looks very uncomfortable and a little sad. Poor thing! I love Jonghyun for making a joke of it and defending Onew.

After the whole Onew thing, the interview gets a little bit better. They ask about SHINee all passing their auditions on the first try, and to me that just emphasizes how amazing talented they are! Then Taemin’s prettiness as a girl is put to the test against real girls’, which is cute. Because he is such a pretty girl

It’s You ♥

Super Junior’s new single, It’s You, was leaked a few days ago, and then the MV was leaked too. The official MV is out now, though! There isn’t a big difference between the leaked version and the official one, just some glowy stuff. It’s all the same to me.

The best thing about this MV is that Super Junior is VERY VERY HOT. There’s not too much of a story or anything, and it’s nothing really special. But whoever dressed and styled these boys is full of win. Kyu is SOOOOOO HOT! SRSLY… the coat unbuttoning thing… SO HOT! My Kyu, when did he grow up? Hehe… so manly now. But it’s not just Kyu! They are all super hot.

I think It’s You is a good song… there are some who think it’s better than Sorry, Sorry, and some who think Sorry, Sorry is better. I’m not sure how I feel, but Iwatched the MV like 10 times yesterday, so I think I’m leaning towards It’s You being better. The people (person?) who wrote It’s You wrote Gee, but I wouldn’t say it’s as catchy as Gee. I definitely like it, though! Take a look:

Post KMF fangirling ♥

On one hand, there are really no words to describe the awesomeness. On the other hand, there are WAY WAY WAY too many words! I just can’t stop talking about it and thinking about it and freaking out.

Okay, so KMF was AWESOME. I can’t compare to last year, because I wasn’t there, but I’m a big big big SS501 fan, so I really enjoyed this year’s show. All the idol groups were saved for last, which, though it led to a somewhat boring first 3 hours of the concert, made for a really, really exhilerating last hour. I really do prefer that, though, because I think it was really awesome to have all the idol groups in one big clump. It’s just… don’t wanna kill the momentum. I really tried to enjoy myself during the first 3 hours. My favorites of the beginning were definitely Kim Chang Wan Band and Lee Juk. Taeyeon sang with Lee Juk, and it was VERY ADORABLE! All of the artists were really good, but they aren’t really my style. I did enjoy them all, except I think I was just really impatient for my idol groups. Lena Park’s duet with Jessica was really cute. And I was glad to hear some English! I was afraid it’d be really awkward because I didn’t understand anything, but it wasn’t.

I would elaborate on all the earlier artists, because I really did enjoy most of them, but I really just want to get to my idol groups Son Ho Young was GREAT. He was an adorable MC. His YEEEEEEAH was hilarious. Son Ho Young with Kim Tae Woo was great. It was so good, I really thought it could have been a good concert closer. I was just like… how can anyone top that? (But SS501 did…) Kim Tae Woo is amazing. Really really really. They were so great. But yeah… I didn’t go crazy and totally lose my mind until SHINee.

They saved SHINee, SNSD, and SS501 for last, and it was amazing. When SHINee came out, I totally lost it. I was really very annoying for the last 3 artists, I think. If I weren’t me, I think I’d be pretty pissed at me. I just screamed my head off. But SHINee! ONLY TWO SONGS! OMG………… I was so disappointed. I was freaking the heck out and then suddenly it was over! OMG OMG but Replay is the best song ever. I’m glad they sang Replay and AMIGO, because I really don’t like Love Like Oxygen that much. But if it meant one more song, I would have been down for that. OH SHINee! I really felt like I didn’t get enough of them… that was like a teaser. It left me hungry for more! It was only like 5 minutes, but wasn’t it the best 5 minutes ever? SHINee really reinforced the fact that they are JUST AMAZING. So young and so talented. One day, when they’re old enough to be hot, they will unstoppable.

Then SNSD. Oh they were so adorable. No Yoona, of course, not surprising. But they were so adorable! But their mics were pretty fail. I couldn’t hear my poor adorable Sooyoung! Oh she’s sooooo cute. But that shirt….. EH. But they were adorable! Gee was amazing! I only wish that song would never end. They only sang 3 songs: Girls’ Generation, Gee, and Himnae. I just wish they had sung Kissing You, because I love that song. But nonetheless, and really good performance by the girls. I also screamed my head off and jumped up and down a lot during their performance. But not quite as much as during SHINee’s.

So my love affair with SS501 began a little bit differently than for any other idol group I love. I didn’t fall in love with them because one of the members caught my eye (2PM) or they had one amazing single that I just am totally totally obsessed with (SHINee). A Song Calling for You was the song that got me interested, but when I listened to their album, I discovered that I REALLY REALLY loved it. I love more songs (…all of them) on that album than I do on any other idol group’s album, except maybe Suju’s newest. Their music was really what got me into them, and I think that’s the kind of obsession that lasts. A cute boy can only hold my attention for so long. A song like Replay I’ll always love, but it’s not the same as having a really strong album.

So the best was saved for last. DEFINITELY. OMG SS501…………………….. AMAZING. SO HOT. They are hot in pictures, but in real life they are just OMG SO MUCH HOTTER.. LIKE A BAJILLION TIMES HOTTER!!! And so good! SO GOOD! GREAT SINGING AND DANCING AND SUCH HOTNESS! Everyone loved them. After last night, I love them even more. Really. OMG THEY WERE SO HOT! REALLY! I screamed so much… it was pretty ridiculous. It was pretty bad. I just couldn’t control myself… fangirlish tendencies to the max. I screamed so much more than for SHINee, even though I love SHINee, and they were my original reason for going to KMF. Everyone went so freakin’ crazy over Hyun Joong. It was just SO SO SO AMAZING to have all 5 of them back together. Even though Kyu is my favorite, it’s not the same without all of them. And even though I’m not the biggest Hyun Joong fan (not that I don’t like him, I’m just not as crazy about him as a lot of girls are… and I’m not the kind of SS501 fan who loves them just because of him), HE IS REALLY REALLY GORGEOUS. I’ve never thought that before. I know he’s pretty, but HE IS UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS. They are all gorgeous. OMG I love them. So they sang 5 songs (It nearly made up for SHINee singing only 2 songs): UR Man, Because I’m Stupid (WITH ALL 5 OF THEM OMG… when Jungmin and Hyun Joong came out everyone went SO CRAZY), Bye Bye (I was so surprised and happy with this), A Song Calling for You (♥♥♥), and Deja Vu. SO AMAZING, SO AMAZING, SO AMAZING. Please come back. I just want to relive it. Hyun Joong, DON’T EVER LEAVE SS501.

Thoughts about Sorry, Sorry…

So Super Junior’s album came out yesterday (well it’s today in the US but now yesterday in Korea…) and really it’s musically wonderful. I love love love most of the songs! I think most of the songs on this album are so fresh and modern and just plain COOL. It’s so very cool and not very boy band. I’m as big a fan of pop as the next fangirl, but I love that they’ve really stretched their boundaries a bit with this album. This is the best album they’ve put out thus far. ♥

Some people are complaining a lot that this album is very KRY-based, and I have some thoughts on that. Maybe I’m just selfish because Kyuhyun is my favorite member, but I really think that’s how it should be. Super Junior is more than a boy band. A lot of ELF love Suju because of their personalities, not just their music. A lot of people who defend Suju against bashers pull the ‘Suju members are talented in ways besides singing and dancing’ card, and mention all the MCing and DJing and acting and other non-musical things that Suju members do. These same people shouldn’t complain that they hear too much KRY and not enough of whoever, because Super Junior’s body of work doesn’t consist of just albums. There are variety shows and radio shows and dramas as well. KRY is not as well-represented in that other stuff, because their strongest talent is singing. Just as Heechul gets more airtime because his strongest point is his personality, KRY should get more singing time because they sing best. This is really their chance to show their stuff. Different members of Super Junior are good at different things. I see lots of other members on tv shows all the time, so shouldn’t I get to hear the better singers? Not to mention the fact that a song is not just the music… but it also includes dancing! So when we see them perform songs live for the first time (SQUEEEEEEEE!) we’ll be able to see that. Super Junior’s songs should be KRY-based, just like their variety shows should be Heechul (and others!)- based.

That’s my little rant… but I’m just very happy about this album

And I really hope they come to KMF… PLEASE! All 13 of them!!!

It’s been forever!!

It’s been so long since I posted anything new. But I felt inclined to post something now… partly because I have finals to study for and I want to procrastinate

But also partly because I really miss Wonbin. For me FT Island without Wonbin is just not FT Island anymore. I thought I would be okay with FTI still. I wanted to love and support them as much as I did before, but every time I hear an FTI song or think of FTI I think of Wonbin. When they sing one of FTI’s older songs, and Seunghyun sings Wonbin’s part, I think of Wonbin. I have nothing against Seunghyun. He’s talented and he’s a good replacement for Wonbin, as good as any replacement can be. But Wonbin was my favorite member of FTI.

I can’t really get over it… how quickly he was replaced. How the other members just go on with their new mini album and their comeback as if nothing had changed. But I know they have to, it’s what’s expected of them. They can’t sit around being sad. It was Wonbin’s choice to leave, and I should respect that and expect that he’s happier now. He’s happier now than he would be if I got what I wanted, and dragged him back to FTI.

I really adore FTI, and I consider them one of the most talented idol groups in kpop right now. I mean, playing instruments? I love it… I think I just need time to adjust. To get over Wonbin, if that’s possible. He was just so adorable and wonderful! But then all of my favorite members of groups are the most adorable and wonderful.

Wonbin’s decision was for good reason, I’m sure. FTI is coping, so I will cope too. Right now I don’t know how much I can stand of them singing old FTI songs without Wonbin (though Jaejin singing his parts is a little less painful than Seunghyun singing them…) but I can at least listen to Bad Woman more. I do like it, it’s just that I avoid listening to FTI a lot right now.  I can listen to their mini album, and I’m sure I’ll like it. FT Island fighting!

They’ve somewhat avoided having Seunghyun sing Wonbin’s parts, and have avoided older FTI songs in general, but here Seunghyun does Wonbin’s rap. He’s not Wonbin, but he’s not bad… just different from Wonbin. I hate that people bash him. He’s certainly done nothing wrong. Seunghyun fighting!

Kyuhyun and Siwon’s 12 Plus CF!

Yay, it’s finally finally out!!

I’d kinda forgotten about it. Hehe.. but anyway, super happy it’s finally here!

It’s Siwon and Kyu and Toey. If you don’t know who Toey is, she’s an up-and-coming Thai actress! She was a nang ek in Golf-Mike’s lakorn, Ubat Rak Kaam Kob Fah (Love Beyond Frontier). Toey’s adorable, and she looks really cute here! They are all really adorable.. I like this better than the other 12 Plus ones. And not just because Kyu’s in it! Toey’s way better than Four-Mod. I don’t mind Pat, but… SHE DOES TOO MANY COMMERCIALS! But yeah, anyway, the commercial is just the three of them being super adorable. Don’t miss Kyu’s adorable dorky dance! Hehehe.

So I replayed the clip a billion times, and I think what Siwon and Kyu say in Thai is “Hua jai phom chuay rup duay na krub!” Which roughly translates to: “Please accept my heart, too!”

They are so cute, and Toey has a dilemma on her hands! But she makes the right choice, of course AND THEN KYU DOES HIS ADORABLE DORKY DANCE!!!!

SS501’s comeback

SS501’s project group, Triple S, released their album a few days ago, and also made a few comeback performances!

First they performed The One and UR Man on Music Core! I like The One… it’s sounds really nice. I like UR Man, except it’s really repetitive. This performance is good! They all look good WATCH IT HERE!

Then they performed UR Man on Inkigayo, and I like this performance better than the other one. They look hotter! Kyujong looks super hot.. but they all look really hot! The fans’ chanting was really nice, even though I have no idea what they were chanting haha.

SHINee in Thailand! :D

So I’m still kind of on hiatus, but Triple S will soon be releasing their album, and SHINee is now in Thailand, so of course I’ve gotta update!

I’m so excited that they’re in Thailand! I’m also really really jealous. I should have made my cousin go see them for me!!!

But anyway, some clips from SHINee at Channel V’s 12th anniversary. They were also on 5Live, but I’ve only found a crappy clip of that on youtube, so I’ll wait until I see a better one. They’re also supposed to go 9Entertain later

But this Channel V thing in Siam Discovery!! I’m gonna be a little bit incoherent with insane jealousy here. Man, there are SO MANY FREAKIN’ FANGIRLS PACKED IN THERE! That has got to be a fire hazard. WAHHHH HOW INCREDIBLY JEALOUS AM I?? *sad* THERE’S SO MUCH YELLING!! It got so much quieter during Love Like Oxygen, though. I really miss the old shiny colorful pants and the cute t-shirts!! WAHH!! *flails* The hoodies should definitely return. ONEW IS SO SUPER CUTE! And Taemin is way too skinny for a sleeveless shirt!!

Their performances seem very energetic and their dance moves are so very clean! I don’t know why I’m just noticing this now, but yeah They performed Replay Boom Track, Love Like Oxygen, talked a bit, and then did Amigo. Their Thai was cute… loved Jonghyun and Key’s “Phom ruk khun” – I love you! Cutesy boys… them saying sooooo much Korean was a bit awkward, though… considering probably very few people besides themselves could understand what they were saying. The translator girl said that SHINee said they were very happy to be in Thailand for the first time, and they thanked their fans who’ve greeted them so warmly, and Channel V who’s supported them, and something else that I couldn’t understand. I still just love love love the choreography for Amigo! I was starting to get dizzy with the camera moving around so much, though. -_-

Triple S – Your Man Teaser

I’m supposed to be on hiatus, but being the big (but not very good at staying updated) SS501 fan I am, I’ve gotta post Triple S’s teaser for their new song, Your Man! Triple S’s album is supposed to come out on Nov 21st! I’m really excited I’M ALSO REALLY EXCITED FOR THE KOREAN F4! I love Hana Yori Dango so much… so this better be good! But of course, with Hyunjoong playing my favorite character, how can it not be?

Anyway, back to the teaser! It’s pretty hot… the song sounds pretty nice, but there really isn’t enough of it to judge. I’ll just look forward to hearing the whole song properly (… without lots of screaming fangirls)

MKMF!

MKMF just happened, and… it was actually pretty surprising! Big Bang won awards which I (and probably lots of other people) thought DBSK would definitely sweep. I kind of wish DBSK had won, but I’m happy for Big Bang, since I’ve been listening to them a lot lately!

What wasn’t a surprise, though, was that SHINee won for Best Male Newcomer! YAY!!! I’m so happy for them! My lovely and so very talented SHINee! There was a teeny part of me that wanted 2PM to win, but SHINee is more talented (no offense, because I love 2PM), and deserved it more. SHINee was so cute when they won! And they cried, of course, and Key was super emotional, and I kind of hated their clothes, but… THEY’RE SO CUTE ANYWAYS!

The special stage that Big Bang did with Lee Hyori was… INTERESTING! TOP KISSING HYORI was kinda cute! I thought Hyori was pretty awkward doing the Big Bang songs, though. She was much better in her own songs! I thought Seungri looked super cute PART 1, PART 2

I really liked the special stage that 2PM did with Wonder Girls! I really hate Nobody, but I actually didn’t mind this version of it! It was pretty nice And 2PM was amazing, as usual! The opening thingy is kinda weird, though. WATCH IT HERE!
