Can I first just say HE LOOKS FREAKIN’ GORGEOUS THERE?!?! *drool*
I just watched Goong recently and I totally fell in love with Kim Jeong Hoon’s character. And I felt really bad for him, because I would totally choose him. XPPPPPPPPP He’s just so nice! And really cute! But yeah.. when I first saw him in Goong, I don’t know what it was… maybe the dyed hair or something, but I was like… this guy looks like he could be a kpop star!
Then I looked him up and found out he WAS a kpop star! He was in the duo UN until they disbanded. Then he did Goong and got famous for acting! Then he became a jpop star. XPPPPPP Such a multi-talented boy! And I’ve read that his IQ is 146, which is a little bit unbelievable, but I definitely believe he’s a pretty intelligent guy.
ANYWAY, I clicked on one of his videos purely because I was like… that guy looks cute! The video said John-Hoon, so I didn’t realize it was his video until I started watching and I was like… wait, that guy looks like Kim Jeong Hoon! Then I remembered that in Japan he is called John-Hoon, and then everything made sense! The video I watched is called You Are Not Alone, and it’s a really nice-sounding song. He has a really nice voice. And of course he is super cute!
You Are Not Alone is on his upcoming album coming out on October 1st! So I’ll definitely give the album a listen when it comes out. This is kind of my first foray into jpop, even though so many artists I like have done stuff in Japan and/or songs in Japanese.
